This after-market Black housing helps to keep a low profile due to the matte black finish. You can film without drawing attention to the camera - Stealth Mode!!!

Note: The waterproof back door is black and will not allow viewing of the LCD screen at the rear of the camera. You will also not be able to see the RED record LED Lights on the camera.

You can instead use the included thin clear Touchscreen door to access the touchscreen.

Please carefully note the Touchscreen Door is only waterproof down to 10m and the Touchscreen will only work while above water.

Perfect for all water-based activities, including snorkelling and Scuba Diving down to a maximum depth of 40 Metres (Solid Door only).

IMPORTANT: As this is a "Replacement" Housing, we assume that you will already be familiar with the issue of "Fogging" with GoPro Housings. Just in case you are not, then please be aware of the following information. As with all cameras that are used INSIDE a housing, "Fogging" in the lens area can occur due to Humid air trapped INSIDE the housing condensing when the housing is cooled from the outside (for example when snorkelling or Scuba Diving). This is a well-known problem that often occurs in Humid and tropical environments. You can Google ways to deal with this issue to avoid spoiling your footage. One solution is to use Anti-Fog inserts inside the housing.

Note: It is important to make sure they don't interfere with the back door seal closing to ensure the housing is waterproof.
