At HERO GEAR, we stock a selection of Battery Storage Boxes designed specifically to store and protect your action camera batteries. Our range includes everything from simple, hard-plastic individual cases to larger storage boxes designed to hold multiple batteries in one organised place.

Important: Charging vs. Non-Charging Boxes
Some of our storage boxes also double as battery chargers. To help reduce confusion, we have included those multi-function models in this category, but you can also find our full dedicated range in the "Battery Chargers" category.

Travel Safety & Airline Regulations
Most modern action cameras are powered by Lithium batteries. While these are safe when handled correctly, they can have serious safety consequences if carried incorrectly when flying. To comply with airline safety standards:

• Carry-on Only: All spare batteries must be carried in your carry-on baggage ONLY. They are strictly prohibited in checked-in (hold) luggage.
• Terminal Protection: Battery terminals must be individually protected to minimise the risk of contact with other metal objects in your bag, which could cause a short circuit.

Using one of our Hard Plastic Battery Storage Boxes is a safe way to protect your gear, rather than relying on tape or ziplock bags. Our individual cases fit all standard GoPro HERO models. Note: These do NOT fit the larger batteries for GoPro Fusion or GoPro MAX 360 cameras.

Brand Compatibility:
We currently do not stock storage boxes specifically for DJI Action or Insta360 batteries, as they are larger in size. We are actively working to source compatible cases for these models and will add them here as soon as they are available.

Pro Tip: Always keep your batteries in a storage box when they aren't in the camera. It doesn't just keep them safe; it makes them much easier to find at the bottom of a dark camera bag!
