Why Use a Dome Port?
Standard action camera lenses are designed for use either fully above or fully below water. When held half-in and half-out, the water line creates a focus differential, often leaving the underwater section looking blurry or distorted. A Dome Port pushes the water away from the lens, correcting this focus issue and allowing both sections of the image to stay sharp.
