The GoPro Protective Housing for HERO13/12/11 Black/10/9 (Model: ADDIV-001) takes your already-tough GoPro and prepares it for genuinely extreme conditions — waterproof down to 196ft (60m) for deep-water diving, and built to shrug off mud, dirt, and flying debris during your toughest activities.
A flat glass lens keeps your footage sharp both above and below the water, and the front LCD screen stays fully visible so you can frame your shot before you seal up. Includes a skeleton backdoor for improved audio capture and easy touchscreen access when you're not submerged.

- Use at your own risk: Hero Gear is not responsible for loss or damage to cameras or equipment used in conjunction with this accessory. We recommend using a secondary safety tether while diving.
- TEST BEFORE USE: Before first use with your camera, test the housing in water WITHOUT the camera to verify waterproofness. Do not assume the housing is sealed — test it first.
- Settings Before Entry: Configure all camera settings BEFORE sealing and entering the water. Touchscreens are NOT accessible once the housing is sealed.
- Gasket Inspection: Always inspect the elastic sealing ring before every dive. Rinse the housing thoroughly in fresh water after every saltwater use — ensure no dirt, sand, hair, or debris is trapped in the seal.
- Water Ingress: Problems with water ingress are nearly always the result of user error and are NOT covered by warranty. Hero Gear accepts no responsibility for camera damage caused by water ingress into the housing.
- Anti-Fog Inserts Recommended: We recommend using anti-fog inserts (sold separately) before sealing the housing to prevent fogged footage from temperature differences.
- Skeleton Backdoor NOT for Underwater Use: The skeleton backdoor improves audio capture out of the water, but does NOT provide waterproofing — switch back to the standard backdoor before any water-based activity.
- Depth Limit: Do not exceed the 196ft (60m) rated depth of this housing.
- Compatible Models Only: Fits the camera models listed above ONLY. NOT compatible with any other model or brand.
- Warranty Coverage: Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Damage resulting from use, misuse, accidents, falls, or any activity-related incident is NOT covered — regardless of the activity involved.
