Detach the ball head entirely to expose a bare 1/4"-20 thread underneath for direct mounting. The smartphone holder includes a hidden cold shoe mount for a microphone or LED light, plus a side 1/4"-20 thread hole for a monitor via a magic arm (sold separately). Add a GoPro Tripod Adapter (sold separately) to the 1/4" thread for full compatibility with all GoPro, DJI, and Insta360 action cameras.
