The ULANZI MT-53 Aluminium Telescopic Tripod Stand is a stabiliser, tripod and telescopic stand in one. Telescopic sections extend from 33cm to 155cm, a hidden tripod leg folds out of the handle for standing shots, and a weighted metal base keeps the whole thing steady once it's down. Built for creators who want one stand to cover handheld, mounted and tripod work rather than carrying three.

The balance handle is the part that sets it apart. You adjust the centre of gravity to suit the weight of whatever's on top, which noticeably reduces the shake a handheld operator transmits into the shot. Above that sits a 360° rotating head — horizontal 360° in the clamp and vertical 270° at the connector — so you can frame high, low or wide without repositioning your grip.

A wireless Bluetooth remote shutter lives in the handle and pulls out when you need it, with a range up to 10m, and a built-in LED fill light gives you usable light when the sun drops. Both run off their own internal batteries.

The body is aircraft-grade aluminium alloy with ABS, so it holds its rigidity at full extension.
