We sell Remote Controls for Action cameras, including GoPro Cameras, DJI Action Cameras and Insta360 Action Cameras.

Action cameras are amazing for capturing unique body-mounted footage, but sometimes you want to mount the camera somewhere more out of reach, such as on the outside of a vehicle, at the front of a kayak, up a tree, at the edge of the Halfpipe, etc. Whatever the location, it makes sense to be able to operate your Action camera remotely.

There are a few ways you can do this:

1) Use the appropriate GoPro/DJI/Insta360 App. This is brilliant because you nearly always have your phone with you, you can change settings, see what you are shooting (in most resolutions), and you can start/stop recording from roughly 10 metres away, depending on wireless interference in your area. The downside is that it tends to run the battery down in your smartphone quite quickly.

2) The GoPro Wireless Remote or Smart Remote. They can control your GoPro camera from much further away. GoPro claims they will work up to 180 metres away in ideal conditions. The downside is that you can't see what you are recording, as there is no Preview screen on the remotes.

We also have a limited supply of Remote Poles for GoPro Cameras. Remote poles are mostly the same as Extension and Telescopic poles for GoPro Cameras, but they have the added ability to secure the GoPro Wi-Fi Remote, the GoPro Smart Remote or the GoPro Shutter Remote securely to the pole. Remote poles allow you to operate your GoPro Camera using the remote without letting go of the handgrip or reaching up with your other hand. Perfect for taking selfie photos. Note: GoPro Remotes are not included. They need to be purchased separately.
