Action cameras are brilliant for all sorts of Action sports and activities, but they can also be used for a range of static video situations.

Action cameras also excel when used for creating time-lapse sequences. For time-lapses, the camera needs to be kept dead still.

When the camera is intended to be kept still, it is best to mount it on a Tripod. However, most standard Tripods have a 1/4"-20 thread and are not compatible with GoPro-style Finger mounts utilised by most brand Action Cameras.

That's when you need a Tripod Adapter so you can convert from the 1/4"-20 thread and attach the camera.
