- Installing this Mic Adapter requires removing the camera's USB cover. While the adapter is connected, your camera loses its waterproof rating.
The Insta360 Mic Adapter lets you connect an external 3.5mm microphone to your Insta360 ACE, ACE Pro, or ACE Pro2 for better audio than the camera's built-in mic can capture. It attaches directly to the camera's USB Type-C port for a sturdy connection that's easy to assemble and disassemble.
Alongside the 3.5mm audio port, the adapter includes a USB-C input so you can keep your camera charging while your external microphone is connected — handy for longer shoots. Note that PD fast charging is not supported while the adapter is in use.
