ULANZI HD02 Super Clamp with 1/4" & 3/8" Threads + NATO Rail
Product Description
The ULANZI HD02 Super Clamp (Model: HD02) grips a railing, a table edge, a scaffold pole or a light stand and turns it into a solid mounting point. The crab-style jaws close on a steel screw with a large thumbwheel, and nonslip pads spread the load without marking what you have clamped to.
The Super Clamp is the starter piece of gear. A magic arm (sold separately) is required to attach to the clamp, and your camera, light or monitor goes on the end of that. Having two 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16 thread holes means you could potentially run three magic arms off a single clamp — a camera on one, a light on another, a monitor on the third — as long as the total stays under 3kg. In practice, that means small arms; three full-size three-section arms would be at the limit before you put anything on the end of them. The more likely scenario is having different size options to suit the magic arms you already own.
Every thread hole has two ARRI locating holes beside it, so anything ARRI-compatible seats square and cannot rotate under load.
The NATO rail on top takes a NATO top handle or any NATO clamp, which slides on and locks without tools. The rail carries two ARRI locating pins for ARRI-compatible devices.

The round maximum is larger than the flat one because the jaw serrations seat a pole deeper into the jaw than flat pads can reach.

Hold the clamp with the rail uppermost and the thumbwheel below, and the 3/8" sits on the upper jaw with the second 1/4" below it.
1/4"-20 is the common size on smaller gear and 3/8"-16 on heavier hardware, and the clamp takes either without an adapter. An arm with a 1/4" at one end and a 3/8" at the other bridges any combination: put whichever end suits the clamp into the clamp, and the other end meets your light or monitor.
The body is aluminium alloy with steel hardware, rated to 3kg.

⚠️ Important Care & Warranty Exclusions
- You Will Need a Magic Arm: All three threads on the clamp are female, and so is the socket on the bottom of your camera, monitor or light. They do NOT join directly. A magic arm or other mount with a male thread goes between them, and it is sold separately.
- Measure Before You Order: The two ranges are different. On a flat edge the jaws close fully and grip up to 60mm. On something round they grip from 22mm to 68mm — a pole thinner than 22mm will NOT be held securely. Measure what you are clamping to before you buy.
- 3kg is the Total: That is everything the clamp is carrying at once — every arm and everything on the end of them. The further a load sits from the clamp, the harder the clamp works, so treat 3kg as a ceiling rather than a target.
- Tighten It and Test It: Hand tighten the thumbwheel fully and give the clamp a firm pull before you let go of your gear, every time. Re-check it if the setup gets moved or knocked.
- Not for Overhead or Over People: Do NOT rig anything above where people are standing or sitting without an independent safety tether. A clamp is not a rigging point.
