ULANZI MagLock Quick Release Magnetic Latch Mount for DJI Osmo Action6/Nano

The ULANZI MagLock Magnetic Latch Mount (Model: MA04-S163) is a folding stand that holds your DJI Osmo Action6 or Osmo Nano wherever you need it. The camera mount on top takes the camera in a single snap — magnets pull it into place, and a metal latch locks it there — while a folding aluminium arm sets the height and angle, and a circular base acts as a stand on flat surfaces. The whole thing weighs 64g.

Both ends of the arm are two-axis joints: each one swivels a full 360° and pivots through 180°, giving you four axes of adjustment between the base and the camera. In practice, that means the base can stay exactly where you put it while you aim the camera almost anywhere — rotate the arm to point it, pivot it to set the height of the shot, then swivel and tilt the plate itself for horizontal or vertical framing.

The base is where it gets more interesting. It is magnetic and grips steel firmly — a filing cabinet, a locker door, a vehicle panel, the side of a workbench — turning any piece of metal around you into a camera position with nothing to set up. It also has a carabiner-style spring gate, so the ring clips straight onto a backpack strap, a D-ring or a belt loop. Extended, the stand sits 96mm tall; folded, the arm nests inside the ring and the whole thing collapses to a 24mm disc that goes flat into a pocket.

• 1/4"-20 Thread with ARRI Locating Holes: The standard tripod thread in the arm mounts the stand onto a tripod, pole or hand grip, and the two ARRI pin holes on either side stop it rotating on the screw — a professional fixing rather than a single bolt.
• Folds Flat to 24mm at 64g: The arm folds down into the base ring, collapsing to a 24mm disc light enough that you stop noticing it is in the bag.
• Silicone Grip Pad: A textured silicone pad on the camera plate cushions the camera and adds grip.
• All-Metal Build: Machined aluminium throughout — a solid piece of hardware at 64g, not a moulded plastic bracket.

Mounting Options:

• Option 1 — Desktop Stand: Base flat on a desk or table, arm extended to a 96mm working height. The everyday setup for talking-head clips, time-lapses and desk-level filming.
• Option 2 — Magnetic Mount on Steel: The magnetic base grips any clean steel surface — filing cabinet, locker, vehicle panel, workbench — holding the camera in place with nothing else needed. On a vertical surface, the two pivots bring the camera back to a level frame.
• Option 3 — Clipped to a Strap or Ring: The carabiner-style spring gate hooks the base onto a backpack strap, a D-ring, a belt loop or a bag handle for chest-height POV or simply to carry the camera ready to go.
• Option 4 — Handheld Grip: Fold the arm and hold the base ring in your hand for a low-profile grip when you want to move with the camera.
• Option 5 — On a Tripod: The 1/4"-20 thread in the arm mounts the whole stand onto a tripod, extension pole, hand grip or magic arm for height the stand alone cannot reach.

A note on the MagLock base: The base ring grips steel and other ferrous surfaces strongly — filing cabinets, lockers, vehicle panels, workbenches — and that is where it performs best. Ulanzi also designs it to hold MagSafe-compatible phones, and here we are less confident: in our own testing, a phone held to the base by its own MagSafe magnets alone is a weak connection, and we do not recommend relying on it. The included magnetic adapter ring is considerably stronger, but it adheres to your phone or case, so the hold is only as good as the adhesive. If phone mounting is your main reason for buying, we would point you to a dedicated phone mount instead.
