Phones with built-in MagSafe magnets (iPhone 12 onward) snap straight onto the ring. For a phone or a case without them, an adhesive Magnetic Adapter Ring is supplied, which sticks to the back and does the same job.

Four sections, four working heights. The hand grip measures just 11cm, with the ring on top of that, and the pole pulls out to 16.5cm, 21.5cm or 27cm. The sections are held by friction, so you pull to the height you want, and it stays there. The handle itself splits into four legs and stands on any flat surface, and the top section pivots 180 degrees to set the angle.

A carabiner is built into the ring, so when not in use, the MT71 hangs off a belt loop, a backpack strap or a bag instead of going back in your pocket.
