ULANZI TT52 1.5m Selfie Stick/Tripod with One-Click Open Base

The ULANZI TT52 Selfie Stick/Tripod (Model: TT52) is a hand grip, selfie stick and tripod all in one. Fully closed, it is just 28cm, but when the 7 sections are extended, it reaches 1.5m. Tap the base of the Handle on the ground and the three legs spring open, turning it into a free-standing tripod stand for hands-free filming. The legs click shut again when you are done.

Compatible with most action cameras and 360° cameras via the standard 1/4"-20 male thread on top, or screw on the included GoPro-style Tripod/Finger adapter for finger-mount compatible models. It weighs just 293g, or 312g with the Tripod Adapter fitted.

The pole is straight and rigid, making it suitable for achieving the Invisible Selfie Stick effect in 360° camera stitching software.

How the Pole Extends:

Seven sections, including the handle, pull straight out. There are no twist collars and nothing to lock — each section is held by friction against the one below it. Pull to the height you want, and it stays there.

That is the trade-off this product makes, and it is worth understanding before you buy. Friction is what makes it fast — up and down in seconds, one-handed, with nothing to tighten. It is also why this is a pole for an action camera, a 360° camera or a compact camera, and not for anything heavy.

About the "Invisible" Selfie Stick:

The pole is not invisible. What happens is that a 360° camera removes it in software — the camera's stitch line runs down the length of the pole, and the finished footage is rendered without it, which is what produces the drone-style shot with no drone. The result comes from the camera, not from the pole. On an ordinary action camera with a single forward lens, there is no stitch line, and the pole will show in the shot if it is in frame.
