The ULANZI TT91 Selfie Stick/Tripod (Model: TT91) is a hand grip, selfie stick and stand all in one. Fully closed, it is just 30cm, but when the 8 sections are extended, it reaches 1.66m. Click the base on the ground and the legs spring out, instantly turning it into a 4-legged stand for hands-free filming.

The 4 legs give a wider footprint and resist tipping better than a 3-leg base. The mechanism is designed not to pinch fingers when closing. A magnet holds the legs shut in your bag, so it does not spring open.

It weighs 330g and carries up to 800g on a standard 1/4"-20 male screw. Compatible with action cameras and 360° cameras with 1/4" female threads. Add a GoPro-style Tripod/Finger Adapter (not included) to add compatibility for finger-mounting camera models.

The pole is straight and rigid, making it suitable for achieving the Invisible Selfie Stick effect in 360° camera stitching software.

Three Modes, One Pole:

Folded, it is about the width of a 13-inch laptop, so it goes in a day bag rather than needing one of its own.

How the Pole Extends:

Eight sections, including the handle, and they pull straight out. There are no twist collars and nothing to lock — each section is held by friction against the one below it. Pull to the height you want, and it stays there.

That is the trade-off this product makes, and it is worth understanding before you buy. Friction is what makes it fast — up and down in seconds, one-handed, with nothing to tighten. It is also why this is a pole for an action camera, a 360° camera or a compact, and not for anything heavy. A heavy load at full extension would push the thin upper sections back down or could snap the pole.

About the "Invisible" Selfie Stick:

The pole is not invisible. What happens is that a 360° camera removes it in software — the camera's stitch line runs down the length of the pole and the finished footage is rendered without it, which is what produces the drone-style shot with no drone. The result comes from the camera, not from the pole. On an ordinary action camera with a single forward lens, there is no stitch line, and the pole will show in the shot if it is in frame.
