The GoPro Surfboard Mounts | Waterproof Adhesive Mounts for Boards & SUPs (Model: ASURF-001) is a pair of low-profile adhesive mounts for attaching your camera directly to a surfboard, SUP, or boat deck. Each mount includes a smaller adhesive anchor and tether, which provide an additional layer of safety in case of detachment.

As with any adhesive mount, holding strength depends entirely on correct surface preparation — see the notes below before you commit your camera to the water. We also recommend an additional flotation cover, if available, in case of complete detachment, to avoid loss of your camera.

  • Use at your own risk: Hero Gear is not responsible for loss or damage to cameras or equipment used in conjunction with this accessory.
  • Flat Surface Required: The adhesive must be fixed to a flat, smooth, solid, clean surface, otherwise the mount can detach. Not recommended for boards with cork tops, wax coatings, patterned surfaces, or boogie boards, and not recommended for Softtops.
  • Curing Time: The adhesive must be allowed to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before use.
  • Recommended: We also recommend an additional flotation cover, if available, in case of complete detachment, to avoid loss of your camera.
  • Warranty Note: Warranty does NOT cover damage caused by misuse or improper surface preparation.
  • Warranty Coverage: Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Damage resulting from use, misuse, accidents, falls, or any activity-related incident is NOT covered — regardless of the activity involved.
