ULANZI Folding Mini Tripod with Magnetic Latch for DJI Action6/Nano

The ULANZI Folding Mini Tripod with Magnetic Latch (Model: MA37) is a flat piece of CNC-machined aluminium that transforms into a hand grip, a desk stand, a mini tripod, a magnetic mount or a mantis hook mount that grips an edge. Folded, it is just 12.5cm long and 99g — small enough for a jeans pocket, a sling bag or a backpack side pouch.

Your DJI Osmo Action6 or Osmo Nano snaps onto the magnetic latch mount on top, where two mechanical latches lock it in place — so the camera is held by more than the magnet alone. A silicone pad on the mount face helps dampen vibrations. The mount achieves 360° of rotation and 180° of tilt via two damped joints, so you set an angle, and it holds there. Kept closed, the body is a short hand grip.

The base plate folds down to a right angle and the whole thing stands upright on it, reaching 20.5cm with the legs closed — a steady desk stand for a piece to camera, a time-lapse or a live stream. Fold the three legs out instead and it sits lower and wider as a mini tripod at 17cm. Either way, it supports up to 400g.

The base plate is where the MA37 earns its keep. It carries a 1/4"-20 thread with ARRI locating holes on either side, so it screws onto any 1/4 inch tripod, monopod, extension pole or magic arm, and if the support has ARRI pins, it will be locked into position. The same plate is cut as an Arca-Swiss dovetail, so it drops straight into an Arca-compatible clamp with no adapter at all. Magnets set into the base hold it on flat steel — a filing cabinet, a fridge, a sign, a flat metal pole. And a hook folds out of the base to hang it over an edge such as a glass panel, a door or a partition, for angles a tripod cannot reach.
