ULANZI EA03-CO82 Super Clamp with 1/4" Threads + Cold Shoe
Product Description
The ULANZI EA03-CO82 Super Clamp (Model: EA03-CO82) grips a desk edge, a handrail, a light stand, a bike handlebar, a tree branch or a tripod leg and turns it into a mounting point. Commonly used in conjunction with magic arms (sold separately). A magic arm (not included) can then be used to mount a variety of devices including cameras, monitors, lights, microphones, phone holders and other accessories.
Three Y-shaped jaws wind in and out on a single knob that then tightens them down, each jaw carried on a swivel foot, and the feet and the jaw faces are rubber-lined so the clamp holds without marking what it is gripping.
There is no minimum. The three jaws interleave and close past each other, so thinner objects such as a monitor bezel, a thin shelf, a picture rail or a narrow rod are held just as securely as something thicker.
That is what the Y-shape is for, and it is the real difference between this clamp and a conventional one. Our own ULANZI HD02 Super Clamp is the heavier tool — rated to 3kg and opening to 60mm — but it will not hold a round section thinner than 22mm at all. This one will hold almost anything.
The feet swing clear for extra range. With the pads down, the clamp takes a flat edge up to 40mm or a round tube up to 45mm. Swing the three feet out of the way and the jaws themselves do the gripping, taking 50mm flat or 55mm round. The jaw faces are rubber-lined too, so you are still clamping on rubber either way.

1kg is the figure to plan around. That is an action camera, a phone, a compact camera, a small monitor, a video light or a microphone — not a mirrorless body with a lens on it, and certainly not a DSLR. If you need to hang more than that off a clamp, the HD02 is rated to 3kg and is the one to buy.

This clamp is 1/4" only, so whichever arm or mount you use must present a 1/4" male thread at the end that screws into it. What the far end needs is down to your own gear. Whatever that arm is rated to, the clamp's 1kg sets the limit for the pair.
The body is metal throughout, with rubber on every surface that touches your gear or your furniture, and the whole clamp weighs 175g.

⚠️ Important Care & Warranty Exclusions
- 1kg is the Total, and It is Low: That is everything the clamp carries at once — every arm, the cold shoe and everything on the end of them, NOT 1kg per mounting point. This is a clamp for action cameras, phones, compact cameras, small monitors, lights and microphones. A mirrorless body with a lens is usually OVER 1kg and a DSLR is well over. Do NOT put one on this clamp, whatever you may read elsewhere. The HD02 Super Clamp is rated to 3kg.
- You Will Need a Magic Arm for a Camera: All four threads are female, and so is the socket on your camera. They do NOT join. An arm or mount with a male thread goes between them and is sold separately. Only the cold shoe takes an accessory directly.
- Check the Clamp End of Your Arm: This clamp is 1/4" only. Whatever arm or mount you use must have a 1/4" male thread at the end that goes into the clamp — a 3/8" end will NOT screw in. What the far end of the arm needs depends on the gear you are mounting.
- Measure Before You Order: There is no minimum, but there is a maximum. 40mm flat and 45mm round with the feet down, 50mm and 55mm with them swung away. Measure what you are clamping to before you buy.
- What You Clamp To Matters as Much as the Clamp: A thin shelf, a plastic trim or a decorative moulding can flex or break under load even when the clamp itself is holding perfectly. Pick something solid.
- Do Not Overtighten on a Delicate Finish: The rubber grips well at moderate pressure. Cranking the knob down hard on polished timber, paintwork or a car interior risks leaving a mark.
- Tighten It and Test It: Hand-tighten fully and give the clamp a firm pull before you let go of your gear, every time. Re-check it if the setup gets moved or knocked.
- Not for Overhead or Over People: Do NOT rig anything above where people are standing or sitting without an independent safety tether. A clamp is not a rigging point.
